Cooling Center

Melvin Public Library, along with 3 other Ford County libraries, will be a cooling center for the community during open hours for the next few days of excessive heat.  Please call the library if you have any questions at 388-2421.  Hours are posted at the bottom of this page.  Stay cool!

Pageturners

The book selection for the August 8 book club meeting is “The Girl on the Train” by Paula Hawkins and plenty of copies, including large print, are now available at the library!

Pageturner Book Update

Due to a shortage of available copies of the previous selection, the August Pageturner book has been changed to The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins and copies should begin arriving in the library early next week!

Free Monical's Pizza for Summer Readers!

Thanks to Monical's Pizza Restaurants for donating free pizza coupons to the library's Summer Reading program!  Each young person who reads books and wins a prize at the library will also qualify for a coupon for a free 8" pizza at your local Monical's.  Stop by the library for more information
