The library book group The Pageturners met last evening, January 11, to discuss the Mary Ann Shaffer and Annie Barrows book The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society.This book has proven to be very popular among book clubs and our group agreed by giving the book an 8.38 rating on a 10 point scale.
The group will next read Bill Bryson's The Life and Times of the Thunderbolt Kid and will hold their discussion as the program for the Melvin Woman's Club on Thursday, February 4, 2010.
