Summer Reading starts today!

Summer Reading Challenge

The annual Summer Reading Challenge for kids kicks off next Tuesday, May 31 and runs all summer long.  Children of all ages can win prizes for reading and recording titles in their book logs.  Stop by the library for more details.

The Pageturners will be reading One Plus One by Jojo Moyes for the June 13, 2016 book club meeting and copies are now available in the library in regular and large print.

Just a reminder that the Pageturners book club meets next Monday, May 9, at 7:00 p.m. at the library and there are still books available.

The next selection for The Pageturners book club is Defending Jacob by William Landay and there are copies still available at the library.  The group will meet Monday night, May 9, at the library at 7:00 p.m. to discuss this legal family drama.

National Library Week

We are celebrating National Library Week, April 10-16, 2016 with a free book give-away.  Any member of the public can stop by the library and choose 4 free items from the book sale each day during the week.

The library book club also meets this evening, April 11 at 7:00 p.m. at the library and the book for discussion is "The Astronaut Wives Club" by Lily Koppel.  The Pageturners, as the book club is known, first organized in October 1998 and has been going strong for over 17 years!
