Thanks to Miss Lily Breeden for the loan of her poster "Events of the Titanic," the focal point of our Titanic display and check out the youth books Titanic Crossing, Exploring the Titanic, Amazing Answers to Your Questions About the Titanic and On Board the Titanic which are also on display.

Book Club

Pageturners meet tonight at 7:00 p.m. at the library and the book for discussion is Mr. Penumbra's 24-Hour Bookstore by Robin Sloan.

Summer Reading Challenge

The Summer Reading Challenge for kids begins next Wednesday, June 3 and runs throughout the summer.  Young patrons can earn prizes each week for reading books and recording them in a book log.  Stop by the library and sign up anytime!

Pageturners

Mr. Penumbra's 24-Hour Bookstore by Robin Sloan is the next selection for the library's book club and will be the topic of discussion at the next Pageturner meeting at 7:00 p.m. on June 8.  Plenty of copies are now available at the library and newcomers are always welcome to attend meetings.

New Book

There is a lot of buzz surrounding the new book The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins and the library has added a copy to our collection.  Many compare it to another recent hit, Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn.  Like that book, this one will keep you wondering what happened all the way to the end!

Book Club Recommendations

Reading Group Choices is a wonderful website for book recommendations whether you participate in a book club or not!  One of the books currently featured is the new title One Plus One by Jojo Moyes, author of our book club's May selection "Me Before You."  Check it out!
