As National Library Week continues through Saturday, April 18, there are still plenty of great books to choose from in the big book give-away! And don't forget to register for our book bag raffle, you can register to win once each day throughout the week.

National Library Week

We're celebrating National Library Week, April 12-18, 2015, with a free book giveaway and book bag raffle so stop by the library any time during the week to register and pick up some free books!

New Books

New books recently added to the library's collection include Prodigal Son by Danielle Steel, Private Vegas and NYPD Red 3 by James Patterson, Look Again by Lisa Scottoline, Crossing Oceans by Gina Holmes and The Nook Book, 6th Edition by Patrick Kanouse.

Pageturner Books

The book for the April 13 Pageturner meeting is Orphan Train by Christina Baker Kline and there are plenty of copies available at the library, including several in large print.

Early Closing

Due to the ongoing power outage and therefore lack of light and heat, the library has closed early. Welcome to Illinois in winter!

Late Opening

The library will open late today due to the freezing rain and ice.  We expect to be open by 12:30 or 1:00 p.m. depending on how quickly the temperature rises.  Stay safe out there!
